Daily absentee list Same-day follow-up
Monthly summary Class teacher review
Student attendance % Report cards, promotion decisions

Notifications

Schools may enable SMS/app alerts when a student is marked absent. Configure templates under Communication or Alert Settings in the Attendance Dashboard.

Tips

  • Mark attendance before sending absent alerts to avoid false messages.
  • Use holiday or no school flags in calendar masters so off-days are not counted as absences.
  • Teachers should only see their classes when faculty login is used.

Troubleshooting

Class list empty — Wrong year, no enrollment, or teacher not allocated to class.

Cannot edit past date — School may lock historical attendance; request admin override.
