Institute Portal

Overview

The Institute portal serves multi-branch institutes and coaching chains that operate above a single school entity. It uses the same Web Forms technology as the School portal but with institute-specific menus and branding.

Who uses it

  • Institute headquarters staff
  • Regional coordinators
  • Branch administrators with institute-level login (type=Institute)

How it differs from School portal

Many workflows are identical to the School portal once you select the active branch or school context (if your deployment uses branch switching).

  • View consolidated reports across branches
  • Manage institute-wide masters shared by branches
  • Coordinate admissions campaigns at institute level
  • Monitor subscription/features per branch

Same mega-menu pattern as School: Masters, Dashboard, Reports, Preferences. Exact items depend on Role Module assignment for institute roles.

Tips

  • Confirm which School ID / branch is active before entering transactional data.
  • Branch staff may still use School login for local operations—institute login is for oversight.
