Attendance Dashboard¶
Overview¶
The Attendance Dashboard is a focused sub-application for real-time attendance monitoring, communication, homework, and analytics—with a fixed sidebar navigation separate from the main School mega-menu.
Access¶
Open from the School menu link to Dashboard / Attendance Dashboard, or navigate directly to the Dashboard application path configured on your server.
Use SUMS ERP link in the sidebar to return to the main school portal.

Common workflows¶
Morning absentee review¶
- Open Staff Management → Staff Absent and Student Management → Student Absent.
- Filter by today’s date.
- Drill into details for follow-up calls.
Send absent alert¶
- Communication → Alert Settings — verify triggers enabled.
- Communication → Messages — manual SMS to absentees if needed.
- Review Comm Log Daily for delivery status.
Homework cycle¶
- Homework → Compose — assign work.
- Homework → Status — monitor completion.
- Homework → HW Analysis — weekly review meeting data.
Fee analysis¶
Finance → Fee Analysis — cross-check attendance-heavy days with collection patterns (management view).
Tips¶
- Pin this dashboard on a reception monitor for live absent lists (use read-only login).
- Coordinate alert timing with class teachers marking attendance in main ERP.
